Sick people from other states purchased deli meats or cheeses from other delis. Sick people’s samples were collected from August 6, 2017, to August 5, 2022.

Three of these people reported eating hard-boiled eggs in deli salads purchased from grocery stores and in salads eaten at restaurants.
