Listeria specimens were collected from ill people from July 20, 2017, to August 1, 2019. Individuals became sick between November 2017 and June 2019. As of November 7, 2019, a total of 24 people infected with the outbreak strain of Listeria monocytogenes were reported from 13 states. Sixty-three percent of ill people were female.
