A four-star general from a nearby military base frequented the dining room and enjoyed Chef Rene’s creations. Every night, I had an event or a club that I was in. On weekends, my roommate and I worked at Anthony’s Pier Nine catering on the other side of the river, going towards West Point. Monday night was gourmet.
