STR Weekly Insights: 2-8 June 2024

In the week ending 8 June 2024, U.S. revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased 1.7% year over year (YoY), driven entirely by a 1.8% lift in average daily rate (ADR). Like in past weeks, RevPAR growth was led entirely by the Top 25 Markets, where RevPAR was up 4.3% on both advancing occupancy and ADR (+1.5ppts and +2.2%, respectively). In contrast, the rest of the nation saw RevPAR retreat 0.3% on falling occupancy (-0.9ppts) with ADR up 1% YoY.
