Food Safety News reports: Chicago’s Department of Public Health has confirmed 55 Salmonella infections stemming from the outbreak at an Avondale taqueria, Carniceria Guanajuato, up from 20 last week. Federal public health officials have begun an investigation into an outbreak of Salmonella Thompson infections but have not yet identified a source.
