There have been over 50 hospitalizations, with at least 10 with acute kidney failure. Of 15 people with available information, 9 (60%) were hospitalized. In interviews, ill people answered questions about the foods they ate and other exposures in the 2 to 7 weeks before they became ill. No deaths have been reported.
